OfflineFYI. This gizmo supposedly allows you to lay your antenna down temporarily. I'm thinking about getting one.

Took off the quick disconnect, added the spring, and added a ground strap from the tire carrier to the tailgate. I have nice low readings below 2.0 again.
I use a quick disconnect on mine. Anytime I go wheeling with my antenna on or with a box on my rack, I take my garage door remote control out of my Jeep so I don't forget and drive into the garage and damage something.
