Any of you running any kind of lights like this? My interest is to utilize my existing factory fog light switch and them being LED, low load to not have to add relays.
They would mount on my light bar here:
Initially I was looking for driving lights, as opposed to spot and flood, as I'd like to use them on the street.
Example Rigid Driving Light: http://www.amazon.com/Rigid-Industries- ... ROCK3EVUO7
I've looked at the Rigid Industries lights (D and D2), Lifetime LED, and some various others.

Any of you running similar or a larger single light bar? Other better idea? Cost? Thanks for your experience and school me on this. 😀

I don't know if these lights will work for your wiring needs, but I here awesome things about these and I plan on getting a set.
Um...what?

I've looked at the RuffStuff ones, but they are HID and the bulbs are blue (ricer). I don't want to add a relay kit (it has built in balast I think). Cost for replacing bulb.
Brad, next meeting hopefully you bring the heep and I could see your light output.
Thanks Tom. What's helps is that the bumper isn't as heavy as it looks. W/o the winch...I have to use a jack. Take out the winch and it's manageable. Still a few things to add to it though. 😀

I've never had much need for a ton of light so my $0.02 isn't even worth that much, but I stumbled across this on the Expedition Portal board and thought it might be of interest: http://www.expeditionportal.com/forum/t ... ood-lights

Well, that was worth a couple Bender! Thanks!
I'm kind of liking this amber one: http://blitzpro.com/12v-led-lights/ambe ... light.html
and this rail: http://blitzpro.com/hawk-6d-le.....-rail.html
I also like how they have roll bar mounts!!
@Brad -- I was still talking about the Rigid Lights you have, not rock lights. I've got LED rock lights.

What Rigid ones were you talking about today again? You said the Mark (4wp) had on sale at the Expo?
Both equally styles are on sale there they have the 4led and the 6led on demo there. Be sure to talk with Marc to get their show price (plus the club discount).
I have the 4 LEDs.

When you say "approved" I'm thinking you mean DOT-approved/certified?
The answer would be yes as there are replacement LED headlights for heeps. 😀
I think you might enjoy this articulating article. It's not the end-all, be-all.

Do you have more information about the supplier. I need some led kits

Trucklight is currently the main provider of DOT approved LED's. They are not cheap however. But vibration, submersion and burn out are no longer issues with them.
Truck-Lite Part POI27250C These fit the round headlight jeeps.
They now also make replacement bulbs for most headlights that are also LED, but much cheaper. I just don't know how effective they are, or if they are DOT approved.
I run LED driving, fog and rock lights currently.
