It takes me half the summer to catch up from days like today.
Right now were pushing 13,000 gallons a minute through the plant. 😯 Normal is around 2100 gpm.
Southern California better thank us for all this water we are treating to send to them. 👿

I guess you are still going the cruiser route, but I saw a nice 01 Tacoma off of Greenback for sale. I bet it would do just fine in the cold weather/snow!

Can I say it again...this weather still sucks. We still don't have power. Everyone around us has power, but here is a problem with our individual service/transformer. They have no estimated time to get it back. 🙁 Keep your eyes open for a used generator. I'm looking for something at least 6kW 240V so I can run my well pumps.

$750. What's your price range?
I think I also saw a 4KV unit for about $300.

I haven't landed on a price yet. I have to look into a transfer switch and with the way my house is wired it could cost me as much as the generator. 🙄 I'm also debating a multi-fuel unit. Would be nice to be able to run it off my propane tank. I've heard good things about those generac units, but I think I can get one locally and save on shipping.

Now that the power is back on (after 116 hours, but, hey, who's counting) I figured I'd post a picture of the snow (mainly for Alex) and the sweet rig they used to fix the transformer. Our individual transformer blew so we were way down on the fix it list. Thanks to PAR Electrical Contractors who actually did the work. Kelly followed them until they stopped and begged them to fix our service when all of our neighbors had power. PG&E was more worried about paperwork. 🙄 I've got a bunch of big branches hung up in trees. Any Posse members want to bring their toy bow and arrows and see if we can get a rope around them to get them down.
