Just so everyone knows in case we have trouble. Our route will look something like this:
49 to N. Bloomfield
N. Bloomfield to Graniteville via Malakoff Diggins
Graniteville to Plumbago to Alleghany
If we have time/interest we'll head up Henness Pass otherwise we'll just head down Ridge through Camptonville and back to 49.

Thanks everybody for trying to help and following me home.
Time for new bearings in the front
That's what a club is all about - we all watch out for each other! No ones gets left behind!! 😀
We had an excellent time! First time I didn't do donuts!!! I think I'm finally getting the hang of drivin in the snow!
Glad everyone's home safe and sound!

We were at Malakoff Diggins. It was so cool to be there with the place empty and all the snow on the ground. It really gave you sense of the solitude and it was much more pleasant than visiting during the dry hot summer. I would love to run my kids up there after I get my bearings replaced. Maybe Keane will lead me in again and we can make it a short family run 8)
I used to wheel a lot. . .

Sounds good to me. Let me know when. There's also a paved way in if that works better for the family. We've gone in on Father's Day before and it was great! There's a lot of hiking to do and it's nice when the park is a bit more open so you can go into the buildings.

When's the best time to go? Not too cold and not too hot?
I was thinking that it was perfect yesterday too when there was snow on the ground so the kids could play a bit.
We could do a quick morning run out there and finish with lunch in Grass Valley. That would be awesome!
If you think I could get my truck or Subi in there in the next couple of weeks, that would be even better!!!
Anybody else up for a quick family run?
I used to wheel a lot. . .
