The 2009 Toy run is Saturday, December 5th this year. It is for a good cause, Christmas Promise. This is the 22nd annual Toy run.
The event starts between 8 and 830 at the Natomas Aquatic Center, located in Orangevale, near Hwy 50 and Hazel Avenue.
The only requirement is that you bring a new, unwrapped toy valued at $5 or more.
There will be a good raffle, hot snacks and coffee. A santa will be there as well.
Good times, for a good cause!

Most folks asked that their left over shirt money go to the Toy Run. Kelly and Pam will be doing some shopping on Monday. We should have a pretty fair amount of toys as a club! 8)

Not sure what they're getting. I'm sure they're open to requests. I'll tell them to pick up 5 helmets to go with the bikes but after that... :dunno:

We bring either one or both of our jeeps to this event. You can bring either, but the off-road vehicles get to park up front!

If you are a first timer with us, be sure to:
Dress warm
Bring folding chairs
Try to meet a McDonalds ahead of time
Sign your whole group in under our club
Bring some money for raffle tickets and coffe/hot chocolate
We also play with RC cars during the parade if you choose to hang out rather than drive the route.

Our window installer is going to work Saturday & Sunday instead of Monday-Tuesday because of the rain forecast. We'll be there some time for the toy run but not early.
