The jury is still out on Soup Bowl. I may have to try it some day. I also want to try Driveline on Fordyce. I've been putting off those two obstacles because of the potential for a roll. Flopping is one thing, but rolling is quite another.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Soup bowl is a flop risk more than a roll. Plus it's pretty easy. Keane and I have both made it with out damage. - I made it, so it has to be easy! embarassed

I think after I get my seats and harnesses, I'll be more willing to try the "roll potential" obstacles. I'm not too concerned with damaging the Jeep, but damage to me is unacceptable wink

I spilled my cooler all over my sleeping bag. I consider that damage. 😀

I better not run Soup Bowl then. If I spill my cooler on my sleeping bag, I'll have a cold night with my feet hanging out of my tent.

Reverse your bag and stick your head out of the tent. It will dry quicker! lol lol

dangit...I should have thought about that and cut the hole in the head end...but that would have been unpleasant if it had rained.

Sunday or Monday is going to work best for me on a return trip to LS. If I go on a Friday then I have to take two days off at work...Keane, are you really interested in going and trying the LS. If so, I might try and take a Friday off.

In all of my years I have never seen a roll on Soup & have seen 1 flop on Driveline. You will be fine.

The more I think about it, the more I realize I can't afford to break. Kelly's not having any luck with work up here. 🙁

Don't worry...they will blow it up soon enough and we'll all be driving through it.

That's too bad with the employment issue. No jobs in the Aurburn area? Is everyone headed your direction and competing for the teaching jobs?

I think it's a couple of issues. There are a lot of people that want to work up here. Many of the schools have declining enrollment so in some cases they already have too much staff. The State budget proplems and the potential cuts to schools don't help. Hopefully she'll be able to sub and get her foot in the door for the next couple of months. Then she'll have to start over again after the baby is born.

Yikes! I forgot about the declining enrollement problem. What about (eventually) living close to Auburn and her teaching more towards Rocklin or Folsom?

Rocklin is very hard to get into. Very few jobs, unless you are qualified to teach special ed.

It might be good training for when you need her to do some work on the 4Runner.

Not bad ideas. Man...talk about feeling guilty though. My pregnant wife shooting sparks from a grinder all over her belly while I sit in an air conditioned office all day. lol
