I'm planning a Street Parade "COVID STYLE" for my mom who just finished her chemo treatments and is in remission. This has been a huge struggle for her for many months and it's finally paid off. She is still very weak and can't have guest over due to COVID threat, so I wanted to put something together that would celebrate her and lift her spirits.
This Friday, October 16th I'm asking anyone who can to meet us at the Power Market in North Highlands, CA (3519 A St, North Highlands, CA 95660) at 5:30pm. Those that want to can decorate their vehicles in Pink. I'll have a couple of washable markers if you want to write on your windows. We will leave in formation at 6pm and drive slowly by my moms house a couple of blocks away. We will honking horns, wave, cheer and simply show love and support for her. We will have a wide range of vehicles from motorcycles to jeeps and even a classic car or two. The parade won't take but a few minutes but I know it would mean the world to mom.
Weather you know someone who has battled cancer or not, I would appreciate anyone who could come to come and add to the parade. Any type of vehicle is welcome. I'll be in Tonka blaring that train horn. 🙂
