I want everyone to know that I am committed to this run. However this is also a shake down run for some work I had done recently. If I run in to problems that hold up the group, I will turn around rather than delay everyone. I don't anticipate any problems, but since I've change my suspension and not bothered to test it, we'll hope everything was done well.

Finally got on here to post up that all made it out safe and w/o major mishaps. Got lots of pics and vids.

Fantastic time. Aside from the bit of winds and lower temps, it was still great!

Thanks!

I got all the pics off my GoPro and the vids.

Pics were done in 1 of 2 settings: 3 snap shot and 1 snap per 5s. I did the latter as time went on. So....I have a ton of pics. Some of the 3 snaps are neat for progress shots. I'll weed through to delete out some later.

Here is picture of us all getting ready to drop into the Bowl.

Looking at Little Sluice and Chicken Line. Rick and Jeff did Chicken Line and everyone else....chickened out. wink

Link to full album of photos that I have for your own convenient perusing. If you want any of the raw files, then let me know and I'll send. You can also try right-click on image, Save As. See if it gives you the full high resolution format.

Total of 7 rigs:

Brad JKU (solo) - black soft top and new (small) c/o's
Seth JKU (with Richard) - metallic green and low profile smitty built fenders
Brett LJ (solo) - white with metallic red cage and Kilby tank protector and massive ProComp lights on the stinger
John JKU (solo) - black hard top, no doors, and spare inside the back
Brian TJ (son) - blue open top and ran the trail into submission!
Rick TJ (Jeff) - black golden eagles that got all dusty and a fender that got rock kissed on Old Sluice
Bill TJ (myself) - white with freshly mounted 37" Toyos, ran drag most of the time

Videos will be along. Not sure to tie together or provide in separate pieces. Suggestions welcome.

How did the night run up Old Sluice go? We had fun during the day, it was pretty tore up. Anyone wheel the new and improved Soup Bowl, we had three takers all eventually made it. Looks like a good time. Glad to have met some of you even if it was brief. Mark

I finally got on here.

I had a great time wheeling with everyone. The camping..well.....next time I need an adult tent.
I got rave reviews on the fender at work today. I do not think Scott( yellow jk,hell hole) will be going to the Rubicon any time soon.
Thank to all the spotters. They had some trail damage too. Falling in holes, unseated the bead on jeans..... 😛

Glad to hear every one made it out un-skathed. I ran it on saturday and must of set a record of passing jeeps. There were the most amount of people ive ever seen on the trail. It was nice to meet skorched and crew on big sluice and I ran into my old club at the end of millers jeep trail. becides from being a little wet and cold it was another great day on the con. hopefully next time i can run it with all of you...just cant do the week days...

We did Old Sluice that day going in. That was memorable. Brad and Brian bypassed, while the 5 other rigs ran it. John (scoped) got a tad tipsy. 😀 Bill lead thru it. We all had to soak on the bug repellent thru there.

Here's a pic of the starting main section, which is nothing new to the veterans.

As for Soup Bowl, Bill was the only taker. I've got a video of it, but awaiting his desired tune to add to it. Upon arriving at the "New" Soup Bowl, the infamous rock had been moved. Wonder if it will be moved back by this weekend. Completely different line (from what I've seen in older videos).

I am SOOO looking forward to this run next year. Between now and then, I need to budget for a rear locker (LSD won't cut it, I'm sure) and all should be good to go!

Hey, this site is working for me again!!!

This was a very fun trip. Logan and I had a great time and are looking forward to next year already 😀

Great pics to remind my wife why she does join us 4 wheeling, or 3 wheeling... lol

Plenty of time to get the air tank to hold air and get that front ARB (heck, maybe D44 if I can find one...).

Went camping at Union Valley all last week. Saw hundreds of rigs heading up all week. Made me want to go again 🙂

Finally got some videos going. I just really liked how the clouds were and how we all just "dropped" in.

Here is the Old Sluice Portion, but I was mostly at the top for spotting needs. Jeff was middle and Bill was the end section-ish. 😛

I'm still working on probably the next interesting portion, which is Cadillac Hill.
