We had two groups from the 50 and 80 side and all met at Georgetown at 9:00 it was cloudy with a chance of rain. Thirteen rigs showed up! Looked like a Hummer Fest! lol
A lot of downed trees in the road and ran into some low snow just above Quintette. John started overheating so Joe & I and Larry stopped to help out and told everyone else to go ahead and we would catch up.
He had gone to Prairie City previously to play in the mud which clogged up the radiator and fan motor pretty good. Joe had everything disassembled and started cleaning. Brad & Kat came back to see how things were coming along. Around 12:00 we aired down and started up the hill - made is just past Uncle Tom's Cabin and met up with everyone else. Our second minor detour involved me draging out a stuck toyota on street-ish tires. I was sure this was not going to be the end of his day when he asked if the strap i gave him was supposed to go on one of my tow hooks. After dragging him down the hill and out of our way (much to his dismay) we continued on.I heard later on he was headed back up the hill-- again. - never made it to the top of the hill as snow so bad - heavy with previous rains.
Turned around ate lunch then headed down the hill and stopped at Uncle Tom's. Started for home around 3ish when we came to a grinding halt at the big long hill going up a Ford Explorer was buried and needed help.
Aired up in Quintette. Had a great time! Later report from Larry said he " found the white toyota p/u" . Tom D and Larry had started down while we were still eating lunch. Larry had aired up before he found the toyota. In the Easter spirit of things he aired down, and pulled the rocket scientist's  up the big hill. Thanks for not leaving them for the rest of us. The ford Exploder was enough.I believe we had 13 rigs attend. Mark and Jenny 2010 JK. Brent 2009 JK. Tom(I like mud),Nikia and Brendon 2010 JK. Hayward 2007 JK. Ray and Kristina 2009 JK.
Larry 86' CJ
Joe 2001 White TJ
Sue 2000 Green TJ
Brad & Kathleen Jeep Hummer lol
Kevin White YJ
Josh JK
Jeff & Steve Dodge Ram
Tom White XJ

It was nice to see and meet all the new faces and rigs and hope you join us again! Joe & Sue 😀

Great report, but one quick addition. Apparently we were on more of a "road rescue" weekend then we thought as the Toyota I strapped and lead out was a blue, short WB 4x4 pickup. It was Louis, Louis and Toke ... the amazingly big dog riding in the back.

Kudos to GHP!

Thanks for the story/write up Joe and Sue. This run had jeeps from Belmont, Stockton, and several other locations!

Tom (the overheated JKU) also had another Tom in the back). There were 4 total in his blue Jeep.

The run was fun as everyone made it home and Joe's extraordinary efforts left Tom with his jeep much more reliable.

I think Jeff and Josh have 3 runs/3 meetings now. I also think Ray and Kristina now have 2 meetings and at least one run - They're pretty dedicated coming from Galt.

That's right - must have been more focused on eating cookies!

Do you know if Ray and Kristina have made a second run to go with their two meetings?
