Does anyone know if the trade show is open on Saturday. According to Cal4Wheel's article it seems the trade show will be open Friday 1:00 - 5:00 and Sunday morning until noon. It doesn't say anything about Saturday.

Just saw your message.
I got there around 9:45 and left around 10:30. Didn't run into anybody.
Not as many vendors as I thought there would be. Had a nice chat with the guys from Parts Mike in Auburn. They have a few little things I'll probable pick up from them. Others included Metalcloak, West Coast Differentials, 4WheelParts, Rubicon Express, and others I can't remember at the moment.
I bought a bottle of vanilla, yes a bottle of vanilla, for my wife. 😀

We were there at 1045 and left just after 12. They had the sweepstakes JK show up, which was nice too.
The vendor section was sad. Only about 15 total vendors. Two coalitions were there, set up flyers, and then left - no one manned their booths.
We spent all our time at the 4-Wheel Parts booth. We talked to both the Sac store manager and his boss, the region manager. I talked a lot about next week's show, and he said that it is one of the 8 shows they put on across the US each year, and it should be very fun. Traxxis is settting up an RC track in the center of the show so people can race RC's. He said corporate sets the price list, and he won't know the sales discounts until next Friday. I spoke to him about the axle and the best he could do today was 15% off, but next week will at least meet that number. We asked about RC's and the region manager had a sales person from the store run over 3 RC's to the show for us to check out. We ended up buying a special edition Greg Adler kit. He said that if we brought the RC to next week's show, Greg would autograph it for us. Garett thought that was cool (though Greg didn't do too well at this year's king of the hammers). It's still pretty cool. Next Saturday should be fun.
I forgot to mention the highlights of the convention:
This year's theme was recognizing the military. That was awsome. They had a former POW there who brought a small memorial. They had two branches of service there, who brought their vehicles for us to check out (so, what size exactly is a 385/85-20 anyway?). Garett really liked the 6x6 they had.
Del Albright was there, meeting and greeting people. I think his visibility in closure hearings has helped keep some trails open.
RE, Metal Cloak, 4-Wheel Parts, Parts Mike, and Marlin showed up for the vendor section.
It was a short drive.
It was free to get in!

We went and saw Joe & Sue on their second go-round. I didn't have high expectations, but I was still a little disappointed in the trade show. I did pick up a tire plug kit from udshardware.com for a decent price. Teddi picked up some flavor stuff from the Watson booth. I talked with Matson from Metalclock and asked about flares with more roadspray protection, but that doesn't seem like a priority right now.
