Saturday Sept 6th We will meet at Cisco Grove exit at 10:00am drive into Fordyce lake, stop and have lunch at the lake, then we’ll go up to Signal Peak, the goal is reach the peak just at dusk to enjoy the view of the sunset. This is a moderate run so should be good for all. If you want to plan a meeting location further down to caravan up HWY 80 please post it here and set it up. The Samurai will be at Cisco Grove exit at 10:00a so you don’t have to wait for me.

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

I'm in.

If anyone wants to go in the opposite side where the trail is a little more tricky let me know. We can meet David at the top of the mountain.

I was a GREAT day!!, we had 5 rigs going in. We went down Fordyce Lake RD. and took a side trip to checked out Lake Sterling. Very beautiful lake. Then we went into Fordyce Lake pulled out the camp chairs and had a relaxing lunch next to the water. One rig had to head home at that time. Then we went a little way further and checked out Fordyce Lake dam. On the way back we took a trail that seemed like it was a out shoot of The Fordyce trail because the further in we wen the more difficult it became. We stopped and walked it for a bit and when we started seeing crunched rocks and gear lube, we figured for this trip it was a little much to tackle, so we turn around, went back out to Fordyce Lake Rd. After a quick run to find restrooms, we went up to Signal Peak. (we got there to early for sunset, maybe next trip) As always, a great view. We discussed it and decided we would go out the front side of the signal peak trail. This was a stretch for our guests Tony & Vivian, (stock Wrangler, on 31") but Tony did a great job driving, with Josh doing fantastic spotting. Gil & Betty were doing very well and had no trouble on the trip. We all had a wonderful time reached the staging area at about 7:00p. We were dusty, tired, and happy…… Again It was a GREAT !!! day. Pictures Will be posted in the Gallery
