Any updates given current environment?
I was planning to post we would be unable to make it!
Have fun everyone!
Thank you for the reminder, I have been hearing warnings from friends at Sac County that a full shut down is still in the wind. Thought they would have made up their mind by now.

Does someone else have raffle tickets? Kat won't be there tonight. Just a reminder...

Any news from the meeting last night?
Very small turnout, we were the only people in the place. I have a roll of raffle tickets but we held off on the raffle with so few participants. I got a few texts of people saying they weren't going to risk it, weren't feeling well, and couldn't make it the night of the meeting so forum posters weren't alone.
-No new attendees.
-Election results: Having received no nominations for other candidates, last years officers will carryon into 2022. (if you nominated anyone and notified the officers via text or PM please post here as no such messages came through. I even had Jamie send me a test PM to verify it was working.)
-Officer updates:
The forest service is actively trying to clear the remaining hazard trees and get the roads engineer to sign off to open MET for over-snow travel. 50/50 chance the snow cooperates and lets them get it open. If it does open, we will be able to have a snow patrol and restore some normalcy this winter.
Budget still looks good and the next meetings raffle looks good as well.
Recent COVID positive tests are way up in Sac county but hospitalizations rates aren't climbing as fast so we will likely be able to continue in-person meetings. Leading up to the meeting a friend of mine who works at Sac county as well as people at EID were on alert from the state that a potential shutdown was in the wind. The warning is still there but trends are now pointing away from that option. If necessary, we will put the zoom meetings back into effect as required by any county or state orders. (For data nerds, most of December saw around 20% of ICU beds available, in early January this dropped to 13% available and has since recovered to 16%. 10% is the threshold for say at home orders to go back into place so things got close for sure.)
-Past Runs:
The closest thing to a past run reported were people re-counting their adventures dealing with the big storm. I had to put my Jeep into 4hi so it sorta counts.
-Future Runs:
See forum.
