Well, after 8 years of regular meetings, good food and great company, the EDH Roundtable is closing their doors. As a result our club meeting is being relocated to a new Roundtable location - in Granite Bay.

Our club meeting is Thursday, the 9th.

Items up for discussion include the club's recent Runs, and other trips/events. We will also be discussing our club's upcoming 2010 end-of-season runs and Club officer status as well.

New attendees are welcome and will be recognized! The meetings are held at Round Table pizza at 6811 Douglas Boulevard in Granite Bay, CA.
You can save 15% by ordering your food one day in advance and telling Round Table that you are with the Gold Hills Posse Club. Round Table's phone number is 791-8063. The meeting starts at 7:30PM.

The meeting this month will also continue discussion on our 2011 plans since we are already at year end!

The December Club meeting is where the 2011 officer nominations occur. Please be prepared to nominate your candidates for President, VP, Trailmaster and Webmaster (Sec/Treasurer is not up for election this year).
Be proud of your new meeting location and run for an office!

So, are we the Granite Bay Posse now? Should we change the logo to the Granite Posse? lol

Future stuff to think about; changing the meeting adress on the Cal4Wheel stuff, changing the adresses in the main forum so new viewers can find us, leaving a note on the old location's door in case anybody comes looking for us there, possibly advertising in the Roseville paper to draw new members from that area.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Kind of sad about the whole thing...I've been going to that Roundtable almost every month since June of 2003...over 7 years 🙁

It was fun though, I just ran through the forum's members list. It was cool to see the names of the guys that used to hang out with us. I wonder what they are all doing now and if they are still wheeling...

It would be interesting to have a reunion some day and gather some of the old guys together. Maybe a 10th aniversary kind of thing.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Do we need a farewell to the old location thread? Post your favorite Round Table memory. lol

My favorite meeting there? The one before we left for Dusy. Back when I was just a kid. Ate pizza, drove for hours, rolled in super late, and had an awesome weekend! Goodbye old round table. Hello new Round Table. 😀 I'll take the new location it's at least 10 minutes closer. 8)

I rmember that Dusy meeting too. That was a blast. I think the guys leaving for Dusy were the only ones at the meeting lol

I have a lot of fond memeories from that Roundtable. Like the time Brian brought in the cake for the 1 year aniversary. Meetings were very different back then, EVERYBODY drove their rigs to the meeting. We would spend at least an hour or two in the parking lot looking at everybody's new mods. Since the club was new, most of our rigs were growing by leaps and bounds, so there was a lot to check out every week. After that, we'd retire to Brian's man-room at his house, play pool, drink a few (for those that drank), and shoot the crap for another hour or so. Those were very late meeting nights.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

I remember the cake. I think that was one of my first, if not the first, meetings I attended.

I've updated the main website with the new meeting location. I added a link to restaurant location and current online coupons too - Granite Bay Round Table Pizza

If I drag my feet for another month, it will be an excellent job for the new VP mr-green

Actually, Fred is taking care of the web site stuff. I figure you could post a note at the old rountable on your way to the meetings, and I can contact Cal4Wheel I guess.

When I contacted them it was as hard as sending an email. You can pull it off! I have faith in you!

Of course, the next president might move the meeting to Loomis or Grass Valley? It is prestigious honor to name the new meeting location.

Ooofff...I hope the officers considered this when picking a location. That may have been enough for me to vote for the Home Depot spot. lol

I sent an e-mail to Cal4Wheel and told them about the location change. I asked them to make the changes in their publications and on their web site. This job is getting pretty demanding. I can't wait for Keane [or anybody] to take it over. Brad is a slave driver.

I heard Alex was going to join and run for VP. :dunno: He'll need some time out of the house with the army of girls running around. 😀

No place to hold the meetings in Rancho since the Stagger Inn closed. 😯 😀
