Hi Jeff. Thanks for putting this run together.I'm in. Steve Lujan and I will be up Friday evening to camp. We'll have a few other rigs with us as well. Still trying to get a head count.
Thanks,
Mark
Thanks Mark. Glad you guys can make it. I mainly need for Dale to know who all to expect on Saturday morning at the McDonalds in Angles Camp. No rush on the head count but let us known if anyone plans to go up with group from Angles Camp.

Me and the Wife are in for the day run. Will meet Dale and others at the McDonald's in Angles Camp at 8am.We will also take Strawberry to 50 and get our dinner grub on at Wallys Pizza in Cameron Park if anyone want to join us.
Wish I could join this portion too - but Ill have to make my way back to Dorrington (on HWY4).
If we finish Deer Valley at reasonable time, I'll join the Strawberry trip too but may not do pizza (will be game time decision).

This trip is coming together nicely! I'm glad to see all of the sudden interest. It will be nice to get out on the trail again and to spend time with our Posse family! Covid masks are optional but if not wearing a mask, social distancing is advised.
Here is a new update:
Day run: Dale Clement (Angles Camp group leader) , John MacDonnell, Sean Rose, Roy and Romika, Brian Cathcart (Brian will meet us at Hermit Valley Campground)
Friday-Saturday overnight: Me (Jeff Root) Steve Lujan and Mike plus some of their friends,
Maybe: Kevin Hebert and Gil.
At this point we have eight rigs committed and two maybes. If for some reason your plans change, please post up on the forum as soon as possible or let someone in the group know of any changes. Don't forget that you need a campfire permit to use a propane stove. You can get one online here: https://permit.preventwildfiresca.org/

I got the AFM replaced in the 1ST Gen and the axle leak sealed so will be bringing her. See you all at Hermit Valley CG about 10AM.

Kathy and I made it home by 9:40 p.m. We had a fantastic group of people with great attitudes. Deer Valley was like the Bay Bridge at 7:30 a.m. a Monday (more to follow in that). Roy and Romika, Sean and his father John, Brian and Kathy and I ran Strawberry after a slow but fun trip through Deer Valley. It took us 1:35 minutes to complete the Strawberry trail, including a ten minute stop at the Caples Lake overlook. I want to thank everyone who was able to attend the run. It was so nice to get out on the trail again. We met Sean and his father John in person for the first time. Sean did an excellent job as did all of the other drivers. No one had to use a winch or a strap which says a lot. A special thank you to Dale for taking charge of the Saturday group from Angles Camp. We will post pictures and more information about the trip after a good nights sleep.
