[quote="finder_87"]Just wondering, would either of you be willing to take a passenger who has never been on Fordyce? I'm really good at pulling winch line, shoveling, stacking rocks and fetching drinks. I could also chip in for fuel or buy breakfast. PM me if you are interested in entertaining my offer.
I got called into work for tomorrow. But thanks for the offer. Maybe next time. 😥
Um...what?

We are back. I am unloaded, showered,and ready for dinner. We started the trail at about 8:30am this morning. We finished at Meadow Lake at 1:35. The only hold up we had was at Winch Hill 1 where we had to wait for a Toyota To make it up the hill. He got hung up 3 times. After about 30 minutes of waiting for them, we were back on the road. There were a fair amount of rigs on the trail, but we were never hung up by any of them. Everyone we ran into was friendly and having a good time. No dirt bags on the trail this weekend.
Scott did great for his first time through. Never had to winch and only required a few CB spots.. Unless Brad finds time for a week day run, this was probably my last run through this year..Deer season starts in 2 weeks and Duck season at the beginning of October..Switching outdoor modes now

Great job guys! It looks like I am committed for about three weeks. After that, I'll post up and check your availability for a weekday run.

Most people take all day or two days to run it. 5.25 is a steady pace, but 3.75 is fast like me, John, and Brad did a couple years ago 😈

[quote="finder_87"]That's a fast trip.
And the 4 hr trip wasn't bad or dangerous. It was just keeping moving along - and not traffic for the whole trail.

Big thanks to Rob for taking me through the trail, I had a great time. It helps when you have someone that has seen the trail and knows where to go.... I took a bunch of pictures but almost all of them are blurry....must be time for a new point and shoot camera.
Yes Brad i mounted my tires backwards on one side. I was going to remount them but havent found the time yet, but the jeep is finaly down in LA with me so maybe it will happen soon.
That was probably the last trip of the season for me at least untill it cools down enough to head out to the Hammers
