Not much snow up there. Here's Jackson Meadows taken today from the Sierra Buttes. 8,600+/- ft.

If I rmember correctly, you didn't need too many tugs last year. You'll probably do even better this year. Might not need a tug at all.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Sweet! Glad your going to make it.

Didn't you need a tug last year because your OX locker quit?

Yup. bashing the cable on a rock caused it to disengage.
I adjusted it and works fine now.

Justin, I'll call you on my way up. I'll plan on the Starbucks at 7:00.

Should I run doors or go doorless? (Dan has full-doors or no-doors).

Chilly ride there and home vs. hassle of doors on the trail... dilemma ???

Closed Mondays.

Me too, but I sure wish I could take them off. I like the feel of wheeling with the doors off and the windshield folded down. 8)

I was think'n of taking them off and stashing them locked to a tree somewere by the trail head then stoping and picking them up on the way home. I would hide them pretty good tho.

The old Cruiser windshield worked better than most Jeeps I've seen. No clunky bolts. Just a big ol' latch. Toyota comes through again! 8) 😀

I need to get the drive line angle fixed and put in a CV on before I blow out the new pinion seals or drop a drive line on the freeway.

I'm not sure anybody's been all the way accross yet. We might want to bring chain saws just in case. I'd hate to see a repeat of last year's 3:00 am run 😯
