Any of you interested in doing a Fordyce trip on the 21st. Two options, #1 is go in at Eagle Lakes and wheel to the committee trail and come out at Cisco grove. Option number two, go in from Cisco Grove and enter the trail at the committe crossing and wheel the trail up to Meadow lake for lunch and then back down and out the committe back to Cisco Grove.
I will be your guide and we will wheel as fast as the slowest person. Next week the weather is supposend to cool down to the upper 80's low 90s in the valley, it will be in the low 80s up there. Perfect for wheeling this trail!!!

There are a couple options. One is to hope someone with us has a street legal rig and can give us a ride over to our trailers. The other is to take what is called the $5 road from Cisco to Indian Springs road. Park the rigs before we get to the pavement at Indian Springs and walk 1/4 of a mile to the staging area and bring our trucks back to the rigs and load them up.

On a side note, if we went in eagle lakes and out Cisco Grove, how do we get back to the trailer rigs?

It will be a mellow run, slow paced introduction run to those of you who have never run it, or have limited exposure to the trail. Hope you can make it.

You are more than welcome to come along. It's a great trail with beautiful scenery and some challenging sections.

Everyone who is going, let's meet at Starbucks off the Foresthill off ramp. Meet at 8:00am. If anyone wants to get breakfast first, we could head over to sweat peas. Hope everyone can make it, it's a fun trail with great scenery! There are tons of places to stop and swim if you want, so bring shorts. My wife Sue is coming with me.

Yes, we both had a great time. Double that thanks for all the great spotting. That was a lot of work between you Justin, Conner and Joe walking up and down the hills but its appreciated (didn't want to up like the fellow below). Haven't checked my "little tire" rig yet, but looks like we made it through with just a few new nicks & bruises. Also received a free carpet cleaning through through the river crossings. We didn't roll into the driveway until 11:00 pm last night. Braden passed out in the jeep on the way home....he (we) were beat.
Thanks again and look forward to the next trip!

Sorry I could not make this run (Family running Eppie's). I hope we can have a Fordyce "intro" run like this again next year.

I'm on Fordyce almost every weekend, I will do another one this year if there is enough interest, but I would preferr it be an overnight trip.
