The time adds up with all 10 vehicles getting to the last crossing. 6 of the 10 not having done the trail before. Extra patience along with that.
F = mu*M*a*10
Big pluses to be proud of and is a testament to Trail Leader and the group:
Great support and collaboration on obstacles
Most of the group needed rock stacking
Most ran the winch or received a hook, as mentioned by Brian
Alot of new things learned (e.g., I'm not running that trail with 35s ever again.) 😀
Hi Lift jack is your friend
Hey Ray, sorry that SAR was about to go out and find you. 😕 I can relate....if you find one of snow run threads here. lol

$314 and change for the gear set from 4 Wheel Parts. It is on order and according to ARB who I already talked to, they are on backorder for at least a week or two... 😥
I was lucky that my wife was at a small group meeting and only called when she got home at 1:00am to find me not home. By then I had cell service and told her I was on my way... Otherwise, she would have been on the phone having the sherriffs dept. looking for me 🙄

This the third time in less than a year (that I know of) that posse members have been late getting off the trail. All of which were very close to sar activation. I agree with Bender we need a Posse wives support network. I have already told my wife not to hit the pannic button until 24 hours after I was supposed to be home.

Something dumb can stall you for hours. I tell her it's all part of the fun.
I'm with you on this.
I also reassure her that I always try to be prepared for the worst and the people that are with me are also prepared. It shouldn't be a big deal to spend a night in you rig on any run that you go on.

Carl my wife is a seasoned wheeler and knows what can happen. My buddy Gregs wife on the other hand, not so much. She was frantic. I felt so bad. So my better half basically called it in to relieve her.. All is well, but there was a milk carton with a missing persons posting... lol, I'll post a pic.

i think instead of a snorkel im goin with under armor
was under jeep today OMG
steering box
lower control arm
belly pan and
gas tank skid will all be getting gaurds of some sort
nothing major just scrapes and dents
I kept hearing something rattling around on the way home, I'm thinking it was something to do with my E brake. I'm with you on the body armor, this trail is a great justification for it.. Guess I'll add it to my growing list of must haves lol..

lol nice one Ray. Bummer about Greg. Hope he comes again though! He helped alot.
A few of you may need to check that E-brake.... 😛
Here's a couple pics I took. I'm working on some video, but it's mostly of Richie taking of me and Rick. I mean, you guys just left us in the dust.
Rick decided to take drag b/c he wanted to be sure he would see the sliders hold (his welds) hold up to all the trail clearing I was doing.

Well hell hole may have got a piece of me - after a bad vibration on the way home in the 45-60mph range- I tightened up a rear driver shock that was loose and a passenger front LCA that was loose and that took away all the extra noise - I got all my tires balanced today and no fix - I'm thinking my rear driveshaft which at this point puts me at a maybe for the strawberry as I'm not getting a new driveshaft before then.

Ive still got the stocker on the rear so im do for an upgraded unit - probably get a coast to match the front - although i have not gone through the front ujoints yet. I feel it in the steering wheel and it kinda changes when throttle is applied (dissipates some). Though my rear is pretty thrashed and i think it is now missing a weight so im about 95% sure thats the problem
