What do you need? There is a GREAT import parts store up here in Grass Valley. They may have what you need. I have to go there tomorrow and could pick something up if you need it.

It snowed almost 5 inches in Tahoe this morning between 5 am and 10:30 am. but all of it melted by noon after the sun came out. All the snow is gone and the roads are dry now. Any snow in the hills will not be a problem. You guys might have problems getting to the trail head, there are a couple up hill grades that are in the shade and snow will stay there for some time. It is going to be 50/50 if you guys can even get to the trail this time of year. Good luck and have fun.

Meeting in Georgetown at 8 and since this is going to be a long day as it is, we will leave at 8:30 Sharp!
Turn North-East off of Georgetown Rd on to Main St/Wentworth Springs rd. Store on the right.
Will be running channel 10. See you there. 🙂

Since Larry doesn't have the internet at home, I'll post this for him. Wouldn't want Alex to get confused. lol

Bender....Thanks for the offer of help. To make it easy I needed to find a metric male to male adapter in 10mm x 1 to get the brake lines routed correctly where they were not going to be rubbing the frame and shocks and possibly getting pinched and starting a leak. No one sells one, so I will just have to buy some brake line and bend, cut, and flare 2 new pieces. I just couldn't get that done and the brakes bled in time to make it.

that was a great trail, i want to go back and camp there! it was a little harder than expected. i wouldnt try it on 31" tires, and you need lockers as well.

Don't you just love that view along the ledge 8)
How high was the lake? were you able to drive down to it?
Glad you guys had a good trip. Hell Hole is definately a Moderate trail and a couple of sections need a slightly larger tire and a locker is definately helpful.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Great pics. Glad you guys liked the trail. The fact that it's uphill all the way out adds an interesting twist. Was there any snow?

Did you throw that oak in the back of someones Jeep for me? 😀

Now wait a second Bob. You are way under stating that tire issue. Have you guys ever seen one of those mushroom clouds from the 1950's in Nevada? That was what it was like. It was awesome but scared the crap out of us for a second. The best part is......all on video. Yessss!!!! Just have to figure out how to get that thing posted.

Otherwise, I thought that trail was great. A great trail to start the year of rocks. No snow at all really on the trail. Just run off in lots of places from further up. Loved it!

It's worse than that...I have my 2009-10 wood. I'm looking for 2010-11 wood. mr-green I actually have about 3 cords sitting that I've cut in the past few weeks that need to be split and stacked. I just can't say no to easy oak. If I were there I would have come home with a truck load. embarassed

Great run! I had a good time. I learned a lot too since I'm still a little green. I'll post some pictures in the gallery. 😀

I wish I had know that, I just burned a cord or so of oak in my burn pile. I still have some trees to cut down on my property this year. The next time I cut oaks down do you want it?
