Want to run over there tomorrow (Thursday) evening or Sunday? It wouldn't hurt for me to check out my Jeep too. I'm not so worried about any added flex with my mods, but I need to check for clearance between the Swayloc arms and tires.

I can't do tomorrow night. Sunday is possible, but I'll need to check the scedule with Kat. Maybe we could bring both jeeps, we could tune the system on the yellow one?

Alternatively, I may try for Friday at lunch!

Sure we can tune the radio if you want.

Friday lunchtime won't work for me. I've got to work downtown that day.

Hell Hole should be a good trail for that buzy weekend. It doesn't get the same pressure as the other trails. I've only seen a hand full of other rigs on that trail since I started running it. Most of the time you have the trail to yourself.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Wife nixed the black jeep for the run. 😥 She wants all the upgrades on it before wheeling.

What's left? You still have 9 days to finish.

That's what I was thinking too. I didn't want to get anywhere near the more popular trails on the holiday weekend.

Why? You still have Lee's Tire/wheel - so just run it! 😯

I think I'll be able to make this one. What's the meeting time/place going to be?

The yellow one may be down for work as well unfortunately. I'll see how my parts progress on that one.

What do you expect from a jeep?

If you broke down, I could run the yellow jeep.

I haven't had time to think that far ahead. Anyone have any suggestions?

I may be camping and will meet you guys at the trial head. But the earlier the better I would think. In Cool by 7:30 or 8:00, or George town by 8:00-8:30.

Geez...you sure like to get going early. 😀 You've still got quite a drive from Georgetown.

😀

I was looking at my map and it doesn't say anything about going up Wentworth. Do you still have a map on how to get there?

It says to go up Hell Hole rd.

I used Yahoo maps to route from Georgetown to Hellhole Reservoir. I don't recall exactly where the trail is from there. But here's something we could start with for discussions.

http://maps.yahoo.com/#mvt=m&#.....lat=39.062 ... 120.418832

It says it's close to a two hour drive from Georgetown so if we meet there we probably want to do it fairly early. How's 7:00 in Georgetown sound?

I'm not sure yet, but I think we want to get an early start. It's a fairly long drive to get to the trail. I'm looking for an online map or directions.

Wow...I don't remember it being that long, but I'll check the GPS. You're in the right ballpark, but I'll see if I can't pull the data and put into Google Earth.

There are two ways to get there. One through Forest Hill and the other through Georgetown. Georgetown would be easier for the Eldo crowd. It's a good hour plus out of Georgetown.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

I didn't relize until I looked at your map, that wentworth springs leaves out of George town.

The trail head is back up the road aournd the 180 degree turn off of RD NF 48, only a couple hundred feet. I have the Northing and Eastings in my book, but they don't seem to work in Google.

Try converting it into decimal degrees and/or throw a negative in front of the Easting (around 120... around here).
