What do you expect from a jeep?
If you broke down, I could run the yellow jeep.
So what's on the to-do list for the yellow Jeep, aside from the new windshield?
Out in the garage collecting parts....

I ordered the parts yesterday. The one item I have is tracking down the bad RE joint and replacing it.

from 80, is the soda springs road to french meadows reservoir paved or at least an drivable corrola style road?
Don't know. I've never come in that way. You've got a Cruiser, what are you worried about?

It'll be a shake-down run for both of our Jeeps.
I took the black jeep to Prarie City today at lunch. It did very well. I was able to test the brake and ARB lines, as well as some flex, the swaybar disconnect and the lockers.
I am not sure about the TJ/LJ rubicons, but the JK lockers operate off of one switch. touch it once and the rear comes on. touch it twice and the front comes on. Touch it again and the front goes off, but the rear stays on. You can easily switch the front on and off, while keeping the rear on. It's a pretty cool design. You can also hit 4-hi, and both the swaybar and rear locker will stay on.
There is a 4ft ledge on a hillclimb there. The JK went right up it. I'd be nervous in my TJ (Rob's wheelbase would be ok).

Not drivable by a car. It is not paved and it is a bumpy road. I deer hunt in that area and use the Soda Springs road all the time.
