The video Jeff posted is how to get a D35 equipped jeep off the trail with rear axle breakage.

Thanks Jeff!

I got a text from Brian at noon today. He said that things are going good and the new axle is almost in.

I have seen people use a highlift jack in place of a tree branch.

Per a text from Brian, they are out and the Jeep was on the trailer shortly after 3:00 p.m.!

Been following this saga since the beginning, glad to hear the recovery was successful. The Rubicon is not a friendly place to have major mechanical issues. Fortunately you weren't that far in when this happened.

Glad to here it off the trail and no other damage happened to it. I've heard horrible stories of people leaving a rig behind and when they come back it's been stripped.
