This is a snow run up to the chili cook off they are having up at the Ice House resort.

The run is on the calendar and we'll meet at the Fresh Pond Chevron at 830 AM. The plan is to sample the chili cook off and run some local roads that comply with the seasonal road closure.

Was hoping to make this run, but picked up a really bad vibration and noise in the rear end on the last snow run. 45 mph is max speed before it sounds like it is going to explode. πŸ™

Sounds like you guys have a fun day ahead of you. Have fun, but I have to sit this one out.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

In light of having to feed all of you before I can become an official member, I was hoping that I could bring a couple different kinds of chili to this run to feed everyone. Would that count as the BBQ?

That sounds good to me but I don't have much pull around here.
I vote yes. πŸ˜€

Isn't the cook-off up there a fund raiser? Some folks bring chili, others pay to eat/judge? Maybe I'm confusing events, but it seems kind of odd to do a member BBQ at an event like that. If it is a fund raiser, I'd hate to see us do something that would take away from their fund raising.

One of the up-coming road patrols might be a better time to do a member BBQ/chili.

I'm ok either way. The road patrol is two weeks after this run and you could bring chili there as well.

But then again, aren't most of the people asking you to defer not going on this weekends run?

The road patrol probably would be better. More Posse exclusive and more time to give Scott his initiation. 😈

In light of the fact that the event is for charity, I will bring the hot chili on the next snow patrol instead. That way I’m not taking away from the fundraising mr-green
But prepare for your mouth to do this…. weld caus im making it hot!
