Not much if it doesn't snow. 🙁
Just kidding. It'll be a good time. Here are links to a couple of old writeups that give you a pretty good idea.

It's a good way to meet people because you're pretty much stuck hanging around all day. Your rig is fine. I'm contemplating bringing my old F350 to see how it does in the snow and I know Larry is bringing his 3/4 ton Dodge. We usually just go up far enough to watch people get stuck.

Cross your fingers for a little snow Thursday or Friday.
I drove up there today. It was 7 miles before I hit snow on the road. It was mostly frozen snow packed into ice. I think I saw only two or three vehicles the whole 7 miles. One of them was a rig towing a snowmobile up the hill.

I split this thread off of the meeting thread so I could find it. 😀 This is going to be a good run for new folks to join in on. We have a prospect that is going to make member so come join the fun.
From the calendar
Meeting at the subway off of Sly Park Road and Hwy 50 at 9AM. Leaving for the road patrol from there at 930.
This should run most of the day (until at least 3PM), but people can come and go as their schedule permits. Also, we will be setting up a check point where the snow gets deep so anyone can just drive up the road (in a real 4wd) and find us!
There's a lot of sitting around for this event so bring chairs and a lunch. We'll have at least one heater and the canopy. Go Mr. Heater!
People are welcome to take off for side runs during the day too.

It's currently about 7000' We should have some nice fresh snow for the run. If this keeps up, we may set up camp very low!
We whould have TWO prospects making member status with this run!

And two new people joining us for a first run!! 8)
Should be a lot of fun!
Should I bring the canopy? if the weathers bad? What about my propane heater? I know we'll have a bbq and bondfire. Will that be enough?
Also, when the weather is bad, we usually set up camp just above the snowline since snow is nicer than rain...

...WINTER WEATHER RETURNS TO THE MOUNTAINS AND FOOTHILLS THIS
WEEKEND...
A COLD LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL DROP DOWN THE CALIFORNIA COAST
THIS WEEKEND. IT WILL TAP INTO MOISTURE CURRENTLY OVER THE REGION
AND COULD BRING GOOD SNOWFALL TO THE MOUNTAINS SATURDAY AND SUNDAY.
THERE IS STILL SOME UNCERTAINTY AS TO THE EXACT PATH THIS LOW
PRESSURE SYSTEM WILL TAKE. HOWEVER...THERE IS INCREASING
CONFIDENCE THAT WINTER WEATHER WILL IMPACT TRAVEL OVER THE SIERRA
AND THE LASSEN PARK AREA BY SATURDAY MORNING. A COLD FRONT MAY
PUSH INTO THE REGION SUNDAY...LOWERING SNOW LEVELS TO 2500 FEET.
CONTINUE TO MONITOR THE LATEST WEATHER SERVICE FORECASTS FOR
UPDATES ON THIS DEVELOPMENT. REMEMBER TO ALWAYS BE PREPARED FOR WINTER
DRIVING CONDITIONS WHEN HEADING INTO THE MOUNTAINS THIS TIME OF YEAR.

Linda and I plan on being there. It's raining here at Kelsey pretty good, so there should be a lot of snow up higher. What air pressure do you guy's reccomend. Ill be at the subway on time (i hope) What things do i need to bring besides a lunch, chairs, shovel, ?
Tire pressure for snow is usually based on your vehicle's ratio of tire and rim width, and the flexibility of your tire's sidewall. A wider rim will lose it's bead at a higher PSI. I more flexible sidewall will also require higher pressure to avoid losing the bead.
Are you running an 8" rim, or a 10" rim?
Generally, 12 is save for either size. I have run 8 with the 8" rim and not had problems.
Just my opinion however.

Plenty of warm clothes and the normal stuff you would take wheeling. Looks like you'll be coming across 49 so I may see you on the way over. If I'm in the 4Runner I'll be on CB channel 10.
In the snow I go pretty low on tire pressure. I'll go 6-8 psi with a 37"x12.50" MTR on an 8" rim. I have gone lower, but it makes me nervous. I don't think I have much CO2 though so I may not air down much at all. You probably won't need to air down to get to the setup spot. Only if you want to go have some fun during the day.
