So i still want to do this run but im a little nervous about the pace and may end up doing wentworth out. Just want to double check with brad that this would be ok and see if there is anyone else that would be interested in doing this so im not all by myself
Just remember you will have a good pace for the first part of your loop effort. It will be good practice!

Update:
Just spoke to Brett via text...Brian ripped his rear control arm off and broke his rear axle. Brad, Kevin and Guy are trying to get them off the trail. Brett said he last saw them at the top of Cadallic Hill at 7pm. I have not been able to reach Brad, Kevin or Lynda.
Hope they get it all worked out.
Um...what?

The trip started with 5 rigs who met in Georgetown we left at 830 and drove to the trail where we aired down. We ran into a RTF guy who said some Arizona rigs were unaccounted for on the trail. We told him we were going across and would look for them. As we headed out we heard Brian on the CB saying he sees us on the trail and will catch up. So 6 rigs total. Brett, Brad, Kevin, Guy and Brian from the club and Sam from the JK Forum.
More to follow...

Passenger front lower control arm ripped off the axle. Something in the rear gave way. All this right before Rubicon Springs. The caretaker there was very nice and welded up the control arm (wasn't the first one he has done ). I asked him how much did I owe him when he was all done and he said how about $20... I gave him $50 and thanked him very much!
Kevin towed me up Cadillac Hill and out to where my front wheel drive could get me out. I can't thank you enough!
Tired to find a room locally, but ended up driving to South Lake Tahoe. Froze our butts off, stopped at Dennys for the worst coffee and some pancakes. Poor Logan couldn't eat he was so tired. Went back to the Jeep to go to Motel 6 and noticed a puddle of gear oil under the rear diff.
Got the last room at Motel 6 for $75. Took the longest shower and I still feel dusty. Logan is still sleeping, all I hear is cars driving by and people on the stairs. We live in the boonies, so every noise wakes me.
Lying here trying to decide whether to drive it home today or tow it with the rear on a dolly. Will update later.

Brad,
We want to thank you for one of the best days out on the trail that we have ever had! Seeing the entire Rubican Trail for the first time was mind-blowing. The fast pace was a stretch on the nerves, mental capacity and muscles but it was perfect to be able to see the whole trail in a day! It added to the extreme fun.
We absolutely loved it all! Thank you for your patience, guidence and great attitude.
We hope you will do it again so maybe we can get to to those hamburgers at the end of the day next time. But as it can sometimes go you just never know.
Kudos to Kevin. His great attitude and capable rig saved the day.
Finally, thanks to everyone for great company and fun!! We really enjoy out off-road family!

Drove it home... I will open the rear later tonight and see what's up.
WHATS UP:
Ring Gear Bolts. Should be an easy enough fix. I have it all apart and cleaning up the mess the old bolts made. Will pickup new bolts and a gasket in the morning. Ring gear looks good. I don't see any damage. Leak was from the loose cover gasket bolts, not the new pinon seal I just installed. I really need to talk to the last guy who put that cover on... oh that was me.
