If your Goodyear won't warranty the tire, I know the one I use in Rocklin will. I used to warranty 4 or 5 tires a year with them and some of the side wall cuts were way worse than yours. My Kevlars are holding up really well with no side wall cuts, and I have been in some spots where I know the old ones would have slit wide open.

P.S. Rob and Kevin the pics are great!

Great info. I originally got the tires in Rocklin so that is where I will go. Thanks again for all your help. I think rock tossing should be an olympic sport......

The Rocklin GoodYear has really went downhill. I just got back from that store. Yesterday I dropped off my beadlock (ring removed), slashed tire, and replacement tire. They were just supposed to pull the bad tire off and put the replacement tire on (inner bead only) and call me when it was done. No call, so I drove down there today. They had both beads set on the tire and it was inflated (no beadlock ring). I tried to explain to them that the outside bead could not be set. Anyway, a half hour later, and watching them like a hawk, they got it right. That place is useless. They didn't even pull off the bent and mangles balance weights.
I used to wheel a lot. . .

Swimming in Spider Lake at night was AWESOME!!! The water was the perfect temperature after a long day on the trail. We all went for one more swim Monday morning before wheeling out.
Thanks again to everybody for stacking rocks and running winch line for me. I must have lost my wheeling mojo. 😥 I had to get strapped once and winch once.
oh yeah........Good Year in Rocklin sucks!

I can kind of see why they didn't do it right. You didn't take them all the necessary parts. Generally speaking, tire guys seat the beads by inflating the tire. Without the beadlock ring there was no way to do what you wanted.
