I'd still be up there, stuck in the snow 👿
You'd just get on the CB and ask me to toss you a strap.

6 rigs headed in to the Rubicon Friday night. Still a lot of snow, but there was a good mixture of rocks too. Half crawling and half snow run. We were there more for the camping, so we only went to Spyder lake on a day run Sat. It was about 80 degrees during the day and around 45 at night. Perfect weather!!!

Our fire that started on top of the snow. That pit is about 9 feet across.
This is what happens when your lug nuts come loose. Your wheel falls of at about 30mph 😯 Not a good feeling at all!!!

That had to be scary as hell!!! Glad you weren't on the freeway when that happened.
Nice pics and it sounds like the trip was a blast. Still looks too cold for me

Only damage from the wheel is 5 new wheel studs and lug nuts.
"TomD" wrote: Rob, I really hope the damage from the wheel coming off was minimal. Looked like a GREAT time!!

Yes indeed. Brad earned the title of Tow Master on this run. He yanked the stock JK and JKU free on several occasions. On one part he towed the stock JK a quarter mile up hill in deep snow. Pretty cool to see what a well built rig can do.
