Well, my schedule blew up, we sold our house in Folsom and bought a house on 5 acres in Fiddletown so my next month will be consumed with moving. Not going to be able to make this run, have fun and hopefully I will be ready for runs after February!
Congratulations Jamie !!

We are thinking about UTC...
I'm not sure what UTC is. Can I get a translation? I'd like to join if my truck is up for what you are doing. Skinny tires could be a concern if it gets too deep.
UTC, is uncle toms cabin, out if Georgetown. We will be up around 6000'. If your thinking skinny tires to cut down through the snow to solid ground, this is probably not the trip for you. I've been hearing there is around 5' of snow. You will need wide tires, low air pressure, and lockers would also be a plus.

OfflineSo far it looks like we have 6 rigs with 3 still possible. Looking foward to seeing everyone, and maybe a few more that haven't yet responded, next Saturday around 830. I'm hearing there is a chance of a storm coming in on Friday through the weekend, but that completely depends on what channel you get your info from.

Thanks, I should have guessed that. I'm very familiar with the area. I imagine Hartless is well packed by now after weeks with no new snow and all the traffic it has seen on the weekends. No fantasy about thin tires being better in soft conditions. They are just the compromise I run for what I do most with my truck. I've been impressed with them in the snow so far, but I have not had them in anything deeper than 2 feet or so of powdery dry stuff. Anyway, not sure what weekend plans are. If I can get out of chores, I'll meet you guys up there, and if it gets too deep, I'll turn around.

What I've been hearing and seeing on posts the last few days is completely different from what I heard the beginning of last week. Sean said some friends were up there and the snow is fairly packed and the videos I've been seeing isn't much more than a few feet. If you get your chores done, it would be great to see you out there.
