We're thinking of going show shoeing this weekend. Anyone interested? We don't have a destination or a day picked out yet. Teddi did mention maybe going back to Iron Mtn Road again though.

Great! We've got another couple we're friends with who are going too. Does Iron Mountain Road sound ok to you? My first thought was the Ice House area but Teddi doesn't want to drive that far.

How about meeting at the Pollock Pines Shell/Subway with a 10:00 departure time?

Home Safe!
What a great day - the snow was DEEP! Didn't go to far up the trail as didn't need to. Few people got stuck blocking the road so we decided to pull of on a side road.
I think we hiked about 3+ miles and it was tough in the deep snow so we decided to stay on the road. Got off the trail about 4pm. Then decided to eat Mexican food in
Shingle Springs it was very good. Thanks Fred & Teddi for an awesome day!! 😀

We're home safe. We had a great time. Our only break-down was Sue blew a bead on her shoes at one point. Like a pro she had it repaired in no time and we were on our way.
