I don't think anyone has committed to condiments. Go for it.

I will bring chips/dip/propane.

Is someone bringing a chainsaw? Do we have a larger one to clear the trail if necessary? I wasn't planning to bring either of my saws but can if needed.

Chuck mentioned bringing a chainsaw. I'm not sure how big it is.

How do you usually get across? I usually take 49, but get tired of how much is winds around. Larry and I were also rolling around the idea of meeting in Placerville for breakfast. Any other takers?

I usually go from Rocklin Rd through the back roads to Folsom-Auburn and take that to 50.

There's a Starbucks at Sierra College and Rocklin Rd we could meet at if you want to go that way.

Or we could meet elsewhere. I'm open. 😀

Do we have a rough head count? I think I got more than enough hot dogs and burgers but just want to be sure.

Would you be willing to come up to Auburn? Looking at google, it looks like it only adds about 10 minutes (just guessing on a Roseville address). There's a Starbucks in the Save Mart Parking lot off the Auburn Ravine/Elm Exit. Say 7:15ish? I'll PM both of you guys my cell.

I'll throw in my saw. It's only 18", but I've cut 24"+ rounds with it. Anything bigger than that should stay on the trail. 😀

I grabbed the only green propane bottle we could find. It's about 1/2 full. I hope it's just required as an extra.

See everyone tomorrow.

Back safe and sound. I can't believe we didn't get farther. At least the bypass to pinch rock is permanently closed. 😈

Fantastic turn out, thanks to everyone that showed up. We had 21 people, and 16 rigs. Kevin thanks for the dogs and burgers, and to everyone else that brought something. Well done! 

More of a right up to come.
