I'm still in! I'll bring a side, plates, plastic utensils, paper towels.

I will bring chips and cookies, or whatever Kathy brings home from the grocery store.

I will bring sides as well. As for tools, I hope the normal list is still acceptable. I won't worry about bringing a power saw because of rules, but will have a battery powered hedge trimmer.

Made it home all good, Buck and I made fresh tracks most the way back. View of Kirkwood was a bit hazy because of the clouds but it was fun going over the other side. Kiosk looked ok on the Carole’s side, I think we should do a metal sign on it like the strawberry side.

I know Buck made it home also.

Thanks for a great day, and congrats Tony & Amy for becoming members!

I'm home and Mykey is already out at a halloween party.  We had a great time today.

Made it home at 19:08. Stopped to pull a Toyota out of the ditch on Pleasent Valley Rd.

I forgot that I'm supposed to let you all know that I made it home. It was my first time up and over packsaddle pass, thank you Jamie for leading the way and also for loaning me your air pump. Dumbass that I am, I modified my air pump to work properly (not deadhead itself to death), then when the time came to actually use it, I couldn't find the switch that's needed to plug it in and make it work . .. story of my life.

Welcome to Tony and Amy of Orangevale! The club is great fun, as you can see, even in crappy weather. Our trail is certainly beautiful, although it's always sad to see all the dead trees everywhere.

And of course thank you Kris for leading the way. Big respect for bringing a 3-year-old along. She's a very lucky kid to get to go on all these adventures.

Are you talking about the map sign?  Or the regular metal club/trail signs?

Like the one we put on the Strawberry side newer kiosk (that's the map one right?), it just looks so good every time I see it.

We need to rebuild the 88 side kiosk.  When we do (and repaint it), we can install that sign if the club agrees to fund it.  I don’t recall the exact size or the final cost.  Hopefully Kris can chime in with those details.  Then we can get club approval for the funds.  Maybe we could do this at the November meeting if you plan to be there?  Since the club has a good balance this year, maybe we can fund it before year end.

I have reached out to see if the sign company still has the files and for a quote. If so I will post up the info in a new thread.
