I am planning an overnight camping trip to Sunrise Pass and Como Ghost Town. Looking for some folks who might want to come along. I am new to the club, never have led an event but wanted to do a one night camping trip to test some new camping equipment on my Jeep. I have never been on these trails so don't know what to expect. These trials are just outside of Carson City, about 65 miles in a loop. Driving time estimated at 4.5 hours with descriptions of lots of stuff to check out along the way. Trials are rated 3 - 4/10. Trail description calls for high clearance with 4WD preferred. Would leave Sly Park Shell station around 9:00 on Saturday, find a place to camp out around 3:00 or 4:00 and plan on getting back around 2:00 or 3:00 on Sunday. I have decided to cancel this run after checking the weather, probable thunderstorms and flash floods, will wait for sunnier weather ...FYI in case any one was going to go.

That would have made it even more fun. One of the most iconic runs was the Nevada Silver State Expedition when we got snowed on and my tent and the Bakken's tent collapsed under the weight of the snow.
