As I mentioned at the last meeting, I am planning on arranging a tour of Sanders Aeronautics. For those of you who don't already know, I work there as an A&P Mechanic and Fabricator. The company restores (and flies) WWII era fighter planes. We also have a part of the company on site that builds aircraft smoke generators (used for air shows, military demonstrations, etc.).
They will allow me to show people around on my days off. My days off are every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Please post here and let me know which day works best for you. I will then try to accommodate the largest number of people and post a date here. I will follow up with details after a date is selected.
The meet time is 12:00 Noon at: Pizza Factory, 10 E Main St., Ione, CA.
If you plan on eating, go in and order when you get there. You might consider getting there a little earlier if you are ordering food. If you are not eating, there is no need to be early. We will depart as soon as everyone is done eating.

Hey Rich,
Would you be down to run a tour for a bunch of old, crusty hams? A bunch of guys from my ham radio club lived through WWII and some fought in it. Quite a few military guys... they would absolutely LOVE something like this. Thoughts?
Sure, but let's see how many I get for the Posse club tour first. I may need to do a separate tour for the ham club.

Rich, the 27th works for us, as we'll be in Nevada on the 13th. If that doesn't work, we'll regrettably have to take a rain check. Thanks for keeping these dates open.
Come on Lynda! First you say the 20th is out, so I pick the 13th and you say that's no good.
We'll see what other input I get before deciding. It looks like I will be doing another tour in February to accommodate the Ham Radio Club. You could go on that if we go on January 13th.
