If you haven't been to Uncle Toms Cabin during the winter season, its can be a "Shit Show" with many unexperienced wheelers trying to figure out how to get their rig over the ice covered road to get to UTC with 40 psi in the tires.  The reward isn't so much reaching UTC to purchase a rewarding beer and beef jerky stick.  Or even taking a dollar bill out of your pocket to staple it to the wall as tradition goes.  It's all the morons we get to pull out of the snow along the way that is the most rewarding of all.  Come join me for an awesome day of snow wheeling

Start: Meet at Georgetown 7:30 a.m.

Depart for trail at 8:00 a.m.

Come early if you need to fill up on gas or stock up on food. Worton’s Market opens at 6 a.m. and makes excellent breakfast sandwiches. Try one and support Georgetown.

We will head down Wentworth Springs Road until the road plowing stops.  We will air down there and continue until we reach UTC at 15630 Wentworth Springs Rd, Pollock Pines, CA 95726.  There we will hang out, eat some food, warm up with a beverage and take memorable pictures just before heading back into Georgetown.  Expect frequent stops to help or watch yahoos.  Patience is necessary for this trip. 

Basic club vehicle requirements apply. In addition suspension lift is recommended. Minimum 33 inch tires and a winch are required. Please remember to bring your radios for communication.  We will use Posse Channel 2 on HAM.  If you don't have a radio I usually have spares, just ask.  

Will limit the group to 10 rigs.
