What do you guys use to drain your used oil into? I was using one of those Blitz oil containers with the screw top lid for a while (like the one below), but it was cheap, leaked, too small, and eventually the top cracked. I liked that it had a screen on the top to set oil filters on and I didn't have to wipe anything up after I was done. Just screw the top back on. Now I'm stuck with a pan and milk jugs that I have to clean up everytime. Any suggestions or are you all Jiffy-Lube types? 😀 I was also using it for diffs and what not.
What I'm looking for is a quality version of the one below that holds about 5 gallons.

I got around the capacity issue by using three drain pans. The ones I've got are from Walmart I believe. The top of the pan is recessed with two screw in plugs. To use it, remove the plugs and drain the oil onto the top of the drain pan. The nice thing is these pans are stackable so they don't take up too much space.

Ideally, I'd like to get one container that holds the whole amount. I've helped Larry with his truck before and it holds 3 gallons. We used a pan that held five but only had one little hole to drain into. The plug fell into the hole and we ended up cleaning about 1.5 gallons off the garage floor. Two holes like Fred's could work. At least then I'd have a back up. I'll check Wally-world.

Digging up an old thread but:
I was in Rebies Auto Parts on Palm Ave. in Auburn last week and back in the heavy truck part room (by the dealer counter) they had something like this. ... nkCode=asn
