So my D35 needs or $600 in parts to fix. There is more damage than first noted. Sheered all 8 ring bolts, which in turn chipped / cracked the ring gear. The heads of the bolts then found their way into the spider gears of the ARB.
Looking for a D44 for a TJ or a set of newer JK Axles with lockers.
I found these JK Axles , What do you all think on the price?
I can get trusses to fit them in a TJ for about $1000.
Any thoughts?

$4,000 for the axles
$1,000 for trusses
$1,000 for gears
Plus any welding costs...
These are costing you $6,000 plus for STOCK axles.
I bought some "super-built", Tera 60 rear, Tera 50 front, bolt-in axles for my TJ for only $7,000. I'd shop around a bit longer.
Edit: A quick search turned up these: http://modesto.craigslist.org/.....96269.html
I used to wheel a lot. . .

Those JK Rubicon axles are a bit over priced for not having the 4.10 ratio. Additionally, JK axles are 5x5" bolt pattern so you will need new wheels plus they are wider which may be an issue if your local cops are sticklers for fender coverage. The other issue I see is gearing. Since you are a 4cly (correct?) the 3.73s in those JK axles would need to be swapped further adding costs.
That said the 32 spline rear axles and 5-7166x JKRubicon front wheel u-joints should be plenty strong for a 4cly TJ with 35"+ tires. Next step would be a HEMI swap.
The D44s JohnDF posted look like a good deal for what you get but would also require some long arm suspension fabrication.
Any DIY option involving trusses requires adjustable control arms since measurements without a jig are only so good. I went the cheap route and got a junkyard 8.8 and Artec truss. Not including gearing/locker I got it done for just under a grand and was probably the cheapest axle replacement since it came with 4.10 gears and a worn Limited slip. It works and will handle 37" tires but it still has some cons and makes me wish I had saved my pennies and done a aftermarket D44 (G2 for $2600 with ARB and whatever gears you need) and just swapped my brakes over. Reason being that my $1000 initial investment would still put me over the $2600 mark after $940 for an ARB, $200 for gears, $100 for setup kit, $400 for labor, and $500 for super 88 kit if I wanted to stay stronger than the aftermarket Dana 44 (and ditch the c-clip).

4.10s won't be enough for my TJ. I had 4.11s stock, and could barely move with 33's. Now with 4.88s and 35's, I can barely move. 5th gear, only downhill with a tail wind. Hmm, might be time for that Dodge 5.9L swap.
Let me know when you are getting closer Greg. I am going to seal mine up so I can at least move it off of the pit, until I decide what I am going to do. We are close with Logan's new Cherokee, oh, and JK axles can fit under a Cherokee as well
