Hello everyone. My name is Joe. I came to a meeting last night and wanted to go on a run this weekend, so I had to register in a hurry.
So here it is.... My Jeep
83 cj7
91 4.0HO six cylinder
T-18 4 spd out of an old truck
Dana 300 T-case twin sticked for fast turning
Ford 9 rear axle 35 spline moser shaft, strange center, detroit, disk brakes
dana 44 front axle stock except for high steer, 4.56 gears, and a crappy lockright
Hi-angle 1 ton CV driveshaft in the rear and a local brew 12" slip 1/4" wall rock screw in the front
37" MTR's
Custom frame mounted roll cage with seat mounts
Dents, dents, dents, dents, and more.......dents
It's been rolled twice onto it's lid
It no longer runs on the road. I got tired of tickets and was lazy after the motor swap to go to the referee
I am at work right now stealing internet so I don't have any pictures. Soon to come.
BTW... where is sweat peas in Auburn?
:hack: I like this one

I don't know if dirt bag is the right term. Broken down most of the time junk that seems to be worth more in receipts than current market value and my current family car combined yes. Dirt bag..no. Although it is dirty right now. I may squirt some paint on it by Sunday too so it is all one color.

I just read your post over again and realized you were talking about me and not the jeep. Fawkin Newbie! Yeah I have been called a dirt bag before. Mostly dumba$$ though. (is that profanity?)

Dirt bag = somebody that drives a 4x4 vehicle that has more dents than straight metal, won't take any honorable mentions at a "Show-n-Shine", more dirty than clean, mismatched paint, Built for go and not for show. And you just don't care!
The more of those qualifications your rig has, the bigger dirt bag you are. I'm the King od the Dirt Bags
I used to wheel a lot. . .

Well then step down for the new dirt bag king on the block, as my rig is all of that plus serves as the family tractor to pull out bushes, tow trees and rocks, and serves as the cats garage bed, when not giving out sheet metal punishment to unsuspecting rocks.

Someone tried to increase my dirt bag status today. They hit the 4Runner while it was parked. 😯 She forgot to set her parking brake or leave it in gear. Rolled into the 4Runner when she got out. Scrached my tube bumper. 🙁 Took out her rear tail light and smashed the corner. She was really worried about the 4Runner. I told her I'd hit the truck harder than that and not to worry about it. 😀 I think I would have had a hard time trying to prove which dent was hers if she had dented it. Glad I drove it today instead of the Corolla which would be headed in for body work after a tap like that.
