Hey everyone,
Julie and I are new to the Posse, we've attended a couple of meetings and are planning to help out with the trail sign weekend of the 20th. Anywho, we have traditionally run Fordyce trail exclusively, dabbled on the Rubicon and explored French meadow are, etc. Our jeep morphed from a stock 1004 TJ to a completely modified rig running 42's. We are looking forward to getting more involved, and getting back on the trails - our group dissolved over the last several years due to illnesses, etc.
Our rig - still running the straight 6, other than that everything has been broken, upgraded and or replaced. We have an Atlas 5:1 transfer case, 42's with bead locks, Sterling 1 ton in the rear, Dana 50 in the front with 538 gear ratio. Fuel cell, custom roll cage, on board air and continuous hot water capability running through a heat exchanger (old man trail comfort). The frame was stretched 7" in the rear and 9" in the front. The long arms are made from spring steel (old drilling rods) with Heim joints. Also have hydro-assist steering. Needless to say - its now a trailer queen.
It's definitely a fun rig, looking forward to getting on the trail!
