Hey all, I met some out you at the March meeting and look forward to meeting more of you at future club events. My girlfriend of 4 years is especially excited about the prospect of camping.
As brevity was required at the meeting I will attempt for introduce myself here a little better.
I grew up on a vineyard in Lake County and got into Jeeping at the end of highschool as my father's back could no longer handle dirt-biking. I built up a few rigs (XJs and a Yota) and finally ended up with my current LJ in college. As my course load grew at the end of college, my Jeep spent more time parked. Following graduation with a degree in civil engineering and a minor in construction management, got a job as a water resource engineer and have been working on my career. Last year I sold my house in suburbia and bought 15 acres south of Placerville. Now that the Jeep is paid off I am focusing on the property, the house, and the Jeep itself. For now I have a pretty tight Jeep budget but as I am finishing projects in the house, I at least have some time to work on and play with the Jeep.
Now on to my driving rigs:
-2005 Jeep Rubicon Unlimited - 6speed manual, 5.5 RE Long Arm, standard armor and bumpers, full cage, 36x13.5 IROKs, Currie steering, Tera-flex sway, 8.8 rear/LP30 front (44s sold and 609s under construction) - Wheeling Rig
-1997 Jeep Brand Cherokee ZJ - Bone stock 5.2 loredo save for a 249 to 242 swap, - dd
