But, you are right. It is a bit plush.... but not too much. It has the right amount of Sparkle to Ruggedness ratio for my liking. I love this machine.

I am sorry, but due to uncontrollable circumstances at work, I am going to have to cancel out of this run. Maybe someone else in the club can step up and take my place. Again, sorry about the short notice.

Rob

Anybody else going to step up and help me show our visitor around?

I know some of you don't want to do Fordyce, and i don't want to run it solo on a weekday. We can change the trail if it will get others involved.

I used to wheel a lot. . .

Maybe the President, Vice President, or the Trail Master can step up assist you on this run..

I really wish I could take the day off and go with you but the 13th is the deadline for one of my projects.

When we went to Utah in June we were fortunate to have the guys from a local club guide us on some runs and give us suggestions on where to go for others. I know their knowledge and assistance made our trip much more interesting. I wish I could pay it forward for this trip.

He really wants to peek at the Rubicon. Maybe I'll take him out to the bowl so he can get some pictures. That shouldn't be too tough on his rig. That way he'll get a taste of the Rubicon without getting into any nasty stuff and have some cool pictures to show his club back home.

Hey guys...!

I see there has been a lot of conversation while I was hanging out at Mounts St Helens. I am now at a Best western just north of Vancouver, Wa. In Woodland...

... I REALLY appreciate the effort guys... but if you are not able to put together anything for a trail ride, don't sweat it! I will really understand, no worries... I am so far still on schedule for the 13th (well and the 12trh for that matter)... I'd still like to meet some of you guys... that'd be cool.

Anyway, we can chat when I get there... not sure when I'll be able to e-mail again... see you next week!

we do have our monthly club meeting on the 14th. if you are still in town you could meet more of the group in person. especially us web wheelers. lol lol

either way, john is an excellent tour guide, you should have plenty of fun even if others cant join you guys.

We will still be on for some kind of a run. We can discuss it more at dinner on the 12th.

well, I am now at a Comfort Inn, In Coos Bay. I was gonna tent it in the Dunes but wussed out... I was there though... did a little loop in the sand with the Jeep. I wasn't about to get couragous though... I am by myself after all, could have easily been stuck in the sand.

Really cool there, lots of little 4 wheelers though... probably the best rig for that sort of thing. All I have is a mountain bike....

I bought a winch in Portland... wanna do an install party instead! LOL just kidding.... man I've put on the miles.... 😯

Coolest thing I heard in the dunes was this little girl as I drove by... excitedly, "Look mom, they got a Jeep out there!" I had a chuckle there...

I think I'm going to have to miss this run too. I was just informed that my son has riding lessons that day at 12:00 and I have to take him. That puts a serious cramp in the time schedule. If there was someplace close, like Fordyce, that we could go to in the morning, I'd be able to do it. But, I'm not doing Fordyce alone and I don't think you want to do that with your nice new Jeep.

So, Rob's out, John's out, anybody want to step in and show him around?

I'm still good for dinner on the 12th though...

I can't get away for a daytime run this week, but I could host an evening work party at my house to get your winch installed either Tuesday or Wednesday evening. Let us know if that would work out.
