I haven't heard from Richard (smilinvamp). Maybe he won't stop since we can't do a run. I just couldn't work it out; Wife has to work, Ben has riding lessons, Ben has piano lessons, Ryan has karate lessons. I feel bad, but I'm just one guy

Sorry guys, my cell acts kinda funny out here. But i had arrived last night in Rockin. I have not checked my phone yet, sorry... I wasn't expecting any calls... LOL
Long haul drive from Cresent City to San Fran to here.... I was sooo beat!
Anyway... all things considered, I do have quite a load on the Jeep and have discovered that driving even slightly rough roads is a not a good thing. 😛
It may have been for the better that the trails were not happening. But if dinner is still on for this evening, I'd like to still meet up with you guys.
It's been one of those days... day of rest... just got up 1/2hour ago. I think I'll get ready and get me some lunch... then call John to get the scoup after....
...no worries, I'm not disappointed, I appreciate you efforts.

Well... I think my plan will be to hang out with you guys tonight, then head out early in the morning. It will be nice to sit with people again for a change LOL
... maybe I can make up some time and get home early... Like I mentioned to John... I shall return when the Jeep grows up... maybe bring along some club members too...

perhaps I Drive this time... I'm hoping to buy an RV sometime soon... pull the jeep down would be better... hang out a few days that sorta thing... much better plan in long run...

Dinner was cool, thanks for taking the time to meet me...it was nice to meet up with another crew. You were the first poeple I stopped to chat with at length in over a week too... LOL
I will try to get back for a little more of an extended stay for sure... I like it here, really!

I'm at Yellowstone Park today... almost home.... a lot of driving in the last couple of weeks... Lake Tahoe was really cool...

I think Tahoe is over rated. It's pretty, but there are so many people it starts feeling like Disney Land. :dunno:

I know what he means though, it's a lot like Banff here in Canada, same idea... great country, but the people over run the place and make it less desirable....
Well, I'm home now... The United States is quite an interesting place. The landscape changes every 10 minutes (well more than that, but) I love that... seen a lot of stuff... Perhaps I'll post some pictures when I have everything sorted out...
Drove a little over 3000 miles... it was a blast...
...and I got my winch across the boarder, no questions... woot!

... Almost thought I wouldn't make it after running through that herd of prairie chickens... geez those things a dumb... I even slowed down - gave them plenty of time, but noooo.... one still has to bounce off my window frame! Stupid chickens...
