Hi, it was nice to meet you all at the meeting last THU. I am glad to find this active and family-friendly group and look forward to some good times ahead.

I have had 3 Jeep CJs (2 CJ7s and 1 CJ8). Since we now have 4 kids age 6 and under (!!!), I upsized to an 89 K5. The kids call it "The Gravedigger," it is great fun and the 3 child seats in the back are very macho. It has a rollcage, bedliner, Tuffy console, Warn premium hubs, top is gone and a few other small mods. Mostly stock. Upcoming projects include pickup truck tailgate conversion (no need for rear gate glass with no top!) and front/rear bumpers with tire carrier and winch.

We moved here from Mississippi about 10 years ago. All I know about off-roading I learned redneck-style from watching my stubborn dad try to make it through mud bogs that he had no business attempting, and then the predictable cluster you-know-what of trying to extricate ourselves. I'm sure many of you have had similar experiences.
