Hi everyone,
I was introduced to the Gold Hills Posse club this past Saturday at the Prairie City basics class. It was great meeting everyone and putting our JKU through some challenges. We're new to the Jeeping and wheeling world, so it was awesome to get an introduction and spotting from some pros.
Right now our '15 JKU DD is stock, but looking to upgrade over time to get more trail ready as time and money allows. I'm also not a "motor-head" so learning to do the installs and everything will be a great learning experience. I'm open to suggestions on what to get done first and what's the most practical.
We have 3 kids (11, and twins who are 8) so taking them out on some trails would be fun and getting off the beaten path to do some family camping. We moved out here from NY last year for work and I would love to get out into the back country and mountains!
Thanks again for all the great information that I read here!

Welcome to the forum!! There's a great wealth of knowledge here on the board.
Jeff and I do a podcast that might peek your interest since you're relatively new to four wheeling. It's called the High Sierra 4x4 Podcast. You can check it out at http://www.highsierra4x4.com/podcast or search for it on iTunes or stitcher. We have many episodes out talking about the basics and initial upgrades.
Otherwise, enjoy the forum here, like I said earlier, tons of knowledgable people here.
Um...what?
