My KC Daylighters on my Suzuki Samurai are over 25 years old, Friday on the way home I stopped by 4 Wheel Parts and bought new covers. They looked so nice today I decided to give the actual lights a make-over. The old covers were cracked, brittle, and had holes in them. The lenses were dirty and there was moisture inside. I took the lights apart, found a lot of rust inside. I cleaned the loose rust inside the light housing and used Corroseal to stop the rust. It actually changes the rust and acts like a primer. I took off the chrome on the reflector and buffed it with a wire wheel used chrome paint to resurface the reflector. cleaned the lens and reassembled the light. I think they turned out real good. may not last for 25 more years, but at least "today" I don't have to buy a new set.

Josh gave me a set of KC Budget Daylighters. I found where I could get the oringinal bulbs for them. At the march madness sale at 4 Wheel Parts I bought a duel wiring set. So Josh.... They are lighting it up once more. Thank you sir !!

My opinion there is nothing like the look of "classic" KC Daylighters.

I have to get a new bulb for the lower set and then I'll post a pic with them all on.

The next light project, rock light install......

OK stopped by 4 Wheel parts and picked up news bulbs for the lower KC's. And here's what they look like all lit up. I'll have the rock lights running in a couple days.

I've still got a few more to add, but hopefully/maybe/maybe not gives some ideas.

Yes I am planning on adding some more in the front. I also will have some in back also. Adding, just a few at a time. Don't want to "go over the top"......... ya right - Light it up !!!

That is cool Carl. Looks like daylight under your truck. Are those LED lights?
