I have a Land Cruiser with full widths and was wondering if i could still use the stock master cylinder 😯 I know that the Cruiser came stock with drums all around, and now i have disc brakes in the front. any thoughts?

What year Cruiser? Post 73ish (I think it was 73) came with disc in the front. It's pretty similar to a mini truck axle.

I had a 64 and when I put disc brakes in the front I had to change the master cylinder and add a booster. I can't remember for sure, but I think it came out of a Wrangler. I also added a proportioning valve. It was quite a while ago. As I remember, my brakes were useless without the booster and new MC, but I don't think I had power brakes to start. Just the old 10 spline axles with drum brakes all the way around. When I added the discs in the rear, I kept the same setup and did fine.

I like that someone asks questions that aren't Jeep related. 😀

The more I think about it, the more I think CCOT sells an upgraded master/booster that should be easy to put in. They are expensive though. But, if you order from them they send you a poster with a girl in a bikini on a Cruiser. 8)

thanks for the info guys! and yes justin this cruiser obtains multiple titles. i believe the cab is a 73 and the frame is a 74 with parts from a few other donors. i think that im gonna just steal the braking system from the chevy that the axles came out of 😀
