if anyone is as cheap as I am and wants to build and mount a Co2 air system this is what I've done.
River city fire equipment sold me a refurbished 10# tank (filled) for $95
Polyperformance.com I purchased a 35' hose $16.95 *
a 150 constant flow regulator $40.00
a Mount Bracket $45.00
Platt electric 3- rigid Strut straps size 2" $5.50
borrowed from work 3 pieces of 7/8" strut 6" long ea $00.00
6- 3/8 nuts and bolts for mounting strut to bracket from work $00.00 **
for a grand total of $212.45
I have not yet off road tested the mount but it seems pretty sturdy. It actually felt pretty sturdy after having just one strut strap on. I'm pretty confident with 3 of them it won't be moving
sorry pics are not in order
* Brad informed me that I need a better air hose. I have not ordered one as of yet. I will probably use this one until it fails
** I used some 3/8" all thread and cut it to length

I am cheaper, my tank filled cost is $0. So I did it for $115

I just purchased a PowerTank system for my TJ because I no longer want to be that guy that everyone is waiting on to fill his tires.I also purchased the bracket and roll bar mounts but I don't think it will mount on the roll bar with the backseat up so I'm considering alternative mounting options. I'm thinking of mounting it on my Hanson cargo rack where I had one of my two fuel can holders (I have one on both sides of the rack). I would like to get opinions about this potential mounting location. I know it would be better protected mounted on the roll bar or mounted horizontally in the interior above the wheel well, but that takes up valuable TJ space, would require removing and placing it vertical in order to use it, or eliminates the use of the backseat. Here is what it would look like on the rack:
Thanks in advance!

Awesome! Just be sure your handle doesn't hang out where a branch can snag it. I just keep mine strapped down in the back of my jeep. If I found a nice mounting place I'd just get a longer hose so I didn't have to move it.

Nice! Once you confirm your regulator works, I'd like to order one so please post some details!
