I found a 2011 3.6L Mopar motor with 10K miles for $1300. It lists the 6-speed manual as direct bolt-in. Can anyone confirm this? I'm having difficulty verifying my transmission is a match (08, JKU). Also, it looks like all my accessories are a direct swap over, leaving my outstanding questions all related to the ECU and whether I can simply remove my old one and put in the new one - and plug it in. Thoughts???

Is it a jk motor or a charger/300
I would be extremly surprised if the ecu was a direct plug in but if so that's nice.
I thought I read or heard somewhere the gearbox was the same just different gear ratios. If it's not a direct bolt up It could possibly just be a bell housing and or input shaft? - are the flywheel part#s the same? Clutch kits same or diff?

Be cautiouse there may be alot of things you need to change - manifolds, pulleys, dip stick locations , I'm assuming it's a rear drive application 3.6? If it's a front drive application I don't know how much they change mounting locations motor mounts and junk?
I would not do one unless it was out of a jk without some serious research first to make sure it's alike - not that it can't be done but if there are a ton of differences it could turn into a real pain.
However if you do it I would really like to be involved
