i finaly got around to making some sliders, i had some rusty old angle iron laying around and made ues of it. i diidnt want metal to metal contact ,so i used ome rv strip sealer on one side. it was kind of a pain to get the part that ozzed out off. one the other side i used 2" wide black pipe wrap. it was way better. when building the sliders i didnt want the bolts to show so i was able to hide 3 behind the bump out angle . the other 3 i just tapped and then welded a stud in. there are only 2 bolts on the bottom under the jeep.

Typically, body mounted rocker guards aren't attached to the frame because of flex between the body and frame.

Looks great!

My rockers are only attached to the frame. I have problems with body flex and they have bent the body in the area. I don't think I'd attach them to the frame AND the body. Sounds like trouble to me.

I like the way you created the "nerf bar" portion. Creative and practical. Nice job!

Looks great. My psc sliders are sandwiched between the body mounds but aren't attached to the frame. Yours should work great. I like the angel iron on the out side.
