Who does welding?
I have 2 small jobs in need of welds...
1) Body mount on the TJ under Pass. Door is sitting in the garage. It fell off when I loosened the bolt to put the sliders on... Factory Welds were poo
2) Shift Lever to Shift Shaft on an old XR350, The outer 3/4 inch of the shaft broke off years ago, shop wants $600 to replace the shaft, or he said to weld in on...
I can come to you, or you can come to Beautiful Pollock Pines for a BBQ and play with RC trucks on a cool course afterwards. My shop has a 220 Welder Plug under the breaker Box. I bought a little wire feed welder years ago (110V) and have tried to do the shift lever, but it doesn't get hot enough for the shaft. Needs a good ole stick weld which I do not have (and never really learned how to do). Also, NO RUSH!!! Both have been like this for over a year. I just want to clean up some things off the "To Do" list...

I have today off but watching the girls while mom does errands.
Sounds like can do the shifter pretty quick. Have to check out mount.

Today is not good, plus, the Jeep is still on Jackstands until I get the ARB put back together... Last of the parts came in yesterday, so I will be under it this weekend finishing it up...
Schools out now, but I have one more week of cleanup around campus then I will be free most every day. I will get ahold of you to set something up 🙂
