After bending my springs at PC I decided to go ahead and do the YJ spring conversion. A made the mounting brackets, and modified my current shackles to fit YJ shackles so I have a drop shackle system.

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.

For the Fronts I relocated shock mounts so I'll have about 13"s of wheel travel. Had Sacramento Driveline make me a front driveline with 14" of spline travel. Modifying the transmission cross member to let the front axle fully drop with out the driveline hitting it.

Fantastic work. Built, not bought. Sure that isn't a Jeep?

Which lockers did you decide to install? I don't recall.

Carl has it right.....

Lockrite w/couplers in rear. Completely replaces all the spider gears. It's a stronger unit than the Spartan or regular Lockrite. Spartan in the front, I'll be able to use the stock axle for now until I can afford to get chromeoly 26 spline (thicker) axles. I know I might have steering issues, but all the Suzuki folks that are running them say that it is manageable. I'll just put power steering on the project list and then it'll be all good. I was wanting to get ARB air locker for front but that isn't going to happen with my budget. The air locker from China was another option that was 1/2 the price, with shipping it was real close to the cost of the ARB. So not going to do that.

I may load the rear locker in first (wheel & pinion bearing replacement at same time) and do a run or PC with that so I know how it acts. Then do the front (will rebuild knuckles, have to before going in water) so I can feel the difference and see how it acts. If it's not good having a lunchbox in front I'll pull it out.

If I can't build it, then it's something that should be bought.
